Let's talk about non-TYPE-MOON visual novel that we enjoyed!
Phantom of Inferno - Enjoyed its story/characters
YU-NO - Unforgettable worldview/setting, the way the space-time theme was integrated into the game system was great as well
Steins;Gate - Great story, good soundtrack, also <3 huke's art (when I get time I'll have to check out the anime adaptation as well)
Also enjoyed playing Kusarihime (I guess I have a thing for time-loop-related stories) and G-Senjou no Maou (the main route was pretty good, really liked the main theme).

...Higurashi, although part of the ending was not to my taste. The opposite for Umineko. It's a mess and it was nauseating. What is real and what is not real?
Going to try Steins;Gate one of these days. In fact, the sequel is quite interesting as well. An 8-bit version of Steins;Gate! Just like those old PC-8801 games...
